Imperial Meeting 2026

Ten of our members shot in the 157th Imperial Meeting at Bisley in July.

For the second-year running, we qualified for the Astor final and finished 12th out of 16 teams.

We also entered 5 teams into the concurrent matches and finished as follows:

Steward – 30th out of 32 teams

Belgian – 27th out of 32 teams

Bank of England – 27th out of 30 teams

Rifle Clubs – 29th out of 36 team

Yorkshire Volunteer Shield – 12th out of 26 teams

Ed Feast was our highest man in the Grand coming in at 44th. He also made it to HM The Kings Prize final stage.

Ed Feast won the Gordon Bennett trophy for the highest placed club member in the Grand Aggregate (having not won it in the previous 3 years) and Alex Morawitz (aged just 17) won the Spiriti Cup for the highest placed club member in the Kings Prize (again, having not won it in the previous 3 years). This was the first Imperial for Alex. Well done!

Several of our members were also selected to shoot and/or coach for their counties.

Congratulations go to Ed Feast for shooting for England in the National Match. Well done!
