On Sunday we shot our annual match against the Royal Navy Target Rifle Club. The weather was cool with occasional very light drizzle, but very little wind. Unfortunately, we were at a disadvantage from the start as two of our members were unable to attend. We had a team of four (all to count) and the Navy had a team of six (best four to count). We also shot in pairs and self coached as practice for the Imperial Meeting.
The Navy were on good form and beat us by 37 points.
The Navy top scorer was Vern with 196.19 and our top man was Paul with 195.22

The Navy were disappointed that we could not provide tea this year due to Covid restrictions, but we promised to do our best to provide tea for next years match!
