The club championships were held over the weekend of 23rd/24th September 2017. We shot 300, 500 & 600 on Saturday, and due to Stickledown being fully booked, we shot 500 & 600 on Sunday morning. We had good weather again this year with a light but tricky wind coming from behind. We were again down on numbers, so please put the same weekend in your 2018 diary!

Geoff Baylis won the Ashworth cup for highest weekend aggregate.
Bryan Myles won the St. James Cup for the best handicap score.
I had intended to award two other cups, but the recipients were unable to attend. Martin Sheppard wins the Gordon Bennett trophy (highest score in the Grand Agg not having won it in the previous 3 years), and Tony Hopkins wins the Ernie Spiriti Cup (highest in The Queens Prize not having won it in the previous 3 years).
