Imperial Meeting 2025

Seven of our members shot in the 156th Imperial Meeting at Bisley in July. The weather was mixed with a lot of rain showers, heavy at times.

Two of our members got through to the final of the Kings Prize. Ed Feast finished 54th and Reg Cutis 59th. Ed only dropped 1 point at 1000 yards. Well done both!

For the first time in 10 years, we qualified for the Astor final and finished 19th out of 20 teams.

We also entered 5 teams into the concurrent matches and finished as follows:

Steward – 32nd out of 36 teams

Belgian – 33rd out of 38 teams

Bank of England – 29th out of 34 teams

Rifle Clubs – 37th out of 38 team

Yorkshire Volunteer Shield – 19th out of 27 teams

Reg was our highest man in the Grand coming in at 152nd.

Max Sheridan-Oliver won the Gordon Bennett trophy for the highest placed club member in the Grand Aggregate (having not won it in the previous 3 years) and Ed Feast won the Spiriti Cup for the highest placed club member in the Kings Prize (again, having not won it in the previous 3 years).

Several of our members were also selected to shoot and/or coach for their counties.

Congratulations go to Ed Feast for being selected as a reserve to shoot for England in the West Indies in 2026. Well done!
