Following the strong winds for our practice on Saturday, we were relieved that on Sunday for our match against the Royal Navy Target Rifle Club, the wind had calmed down considerably. It was a fine day if a little cool for the time of year, with just a couple of light showers in the afternoon.
We had a team of 6 but the Navy were only able to raise a team of 4, so it was our best 4 against the Navy’s 4. It was a very close match with the Navy winning by just 2 points! Ian Dampney was our top man with 186.15 and Claire Mawson was top for the Navy with 199.25!
